In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’

                 -  Acts 20:35

Perhaps more so than other positions in Scouting, being a member of the Indianapolis Catholic Committee on Scouting provides you with a sense of pride and fulfilment with each Scout that is recognized for a religious emblem.

There is always a place for you at our table.

The Indianapolis Catholic Committee on Scouting is a committed group of individuals with a shared interest in youth and their Catholic faith.  The committee is comprised of five sub-committees working together for this cause.

The five sub-committees are:  Awards/Recognition, Events, Communications, Training, and Membership.  Each chairperson manages their sub-committee and attends the bi-monthly meetings.  The meetings are open to anyone interested in Catholic Scouting.  Click here, to find our next scheduled meeting.

We are looking for Scout leaders, youth ministers, directors of religious education, or anyone with an interest in promoting our faith through Scouting.  Time commitment varies with tasks.  But a lot of our work is spread out through the year. If interested, contact us with your questions.
